To put it simply we’re a group of people that don’t think it’s fair that big businesses rip off the little guy, and we work hard to get ordinary people any money that they’re owed.
How Does Our Process Work?
While our process is fully comprehensive, it’s very easy and simple for our customers.
First, we conduct a basic online fact find with our customer, taking the details of any and all lenders that they have had products with that may have had CCI attached.
Next, we liaise with the relevant companies directly to establish whether or not CCI was attached and, where it was, how much our customer was charged.
Once we know which credit agreements our customers have had where CCI was attached, we do a deeper dive with our customer to establish their personal circumstances at the time they took out the credit.
Where customers choose to use us to run their claims for them then from this stage on, all of our customers’ hard work is done. If they choose us to run their claim on their behalf, then we take care of the rest of the process for them.
Our next step is to take all their information and package their full complaint for them and submit it to their lender.
We then ensure that the lender hasn’t missed any key information that would mean our customer ought to get their money back
We help our customer overcome any barriers that might crop up.
We also appeal any rejections that the lenders make on behalf of our customer whenever appropriate.
Lastly, once the lender makes an offer, we will liaise between the lender and our customer to ensure that our customer is happy that their offer is fair.
Only after our customer has their money back do we take our fee, a maximum of 36% of the money we help them get back.
How We Can Help You
Boomerang Claims will assist you by dealing with your bank, card provider or lender directly and on your behalf. We will help you gather all the relevant information by using your bank’s own records to fill in any blanks in your records and memory. In addition to making sure that all the important information is collated fully and properly, we will work with the relevant lenders or banks to ascertain whether or not you were affected by CCI and precisely to what degree.
Once we’ve established that you were affected, we show you how to make your complaint directly and for free through AFCA, or if you prefer we can run your case for you on a No Win No Fee basis. If you choose to use us to run your claim, then we will work with your bank or lender for you to establish a strong basis for your complaint. In some instances, this may be as simple as you not being informed of the existence of the policy in the first place, in others it may be a more complex affair of being pressured into taking the policy out, or not having been informed of the extensive exclusions and limitations written into the policy. Whatever your circumstances, we will ensure that your complaint is fully comprehensive and accurate.
We will then liaise with your bank or lender to ensure that the amount of remittance offered to you is fair and takes into account all the particulars of your circumstances (for instance, in situations where you were lent the amount needed to pay off your insurance premium in full, we will make sure that appropriate interest is offered to you).

At Boomerang Claims we operate on a strict “No Win, No Fee” basis, and only gets paid if we win money back for you. We will earn a maximum of 36% of any remittance or compensation made to you (although in certain situations this may be discounted or capped, such as for vulnerable customers that wouldn’t necessarily be able to easily complete the complaint on their own, or customers that are struggling with debt).
This means that we are always incentivised to win as many cases as possible, and to get the most money back for you that we can.
